Carousel Telephony Adapter Version 1 Communications Carousel is software to connect VoIP calls to ordinary telephone lines and vice versa using one of a number of professional telephony devices. It works as a virtual FXO gateway. You install it as a service on any Windows PC. SIP protocol VoIP calls will be directed out to standard PSTN analog lines through a telephony board.

Typical Applications:

~ To create a 1 to 12 FXO gateway to route VoIP SIP calls to ordinary phone lines.
~ To run a VoIP Based PBX when no SIP Gateway or Broadband provider is available. ie. Where you want to use VoIP to route calls in a office but where all external calls are still on ordinary telephone lines.
~ To use an existing LAN network to route calls from a Virtual PBX.

The sandy ground is crunching under the trunk of the yacht. A smell of beer and sunoil lays in the air. Your friends are jumping over the railing. There will be a nice place to be.

During a turn, a player either places a tile or places a pawn onto an intersection, similar to the mechanics in Auf Heller und Pfennig or Isis und Osiris. New in this game are the triangular tiles on the island, which have varying effects that only count when tiles are properly placed around them: doubling, banishment or switching signs. The triangles generate placement restrictions which in turn lead to forced placements and a tactical game regardless of number of players.

There are two different types of scoring. Pawns that sit on intersections that are completely built up with tiles are scored immediately and can be placed anew. Pawns that sit on incomplete intersections have to wait until the end of the game and are only scored then. The scores are determined by the values of the buildings and the triangle tile modifications. Highest score wins.

TexRD 0.4 Graphics TexRD is a useful application that allows animated random textures to be generated by means of algorithms based on reaction-diffusion principle.
More specifically, complex chemical reactions between several fluids
are simulated and produce various patterns by self-organization.
Similar morphogenesis phenomena are
observed in the real life and could account for the patterns observed
on the skin on some animals, exotic fishes, shells, minerals...

Even if it looks complicated to you, it is not necessary to
understand how it exactly works to use TexRD ! You can take the
advantage of the software by simply starting the calculation of the
manifold given examples. Progressively, you will learn how to change
simple parameters like the image size or its colors.

Any texture generated by TexRD can be tiled, i.e. juxtaposing
the same basic texture so as to fill a given space. The texture will
be perfectly adjusted to each other, edge to edge without join. Web
pages backgrounds can also use pattern tiling.

TexRD is designed for graphic designers, cyber-artists, etc...
Like a mathematical game, it showed also be of interest for science
lovers as a powerful tool to create new original textures. The thrill
of discovery is enhanced by the fact that reaction-diffusion patterns
cannot be predicted by the theory .
They require multiple trials associating chance, observations and
attempts to find the rules governing the effects of the various
parameters. You will discover completely novel textures, because
there are so many combinations possible.

With TexRD, you will be able to create all kinds of abstract
images for postal cards or front pages, bindings, paper bookmarks,
windows wallpapers, as well as new ideas for decoration patterns.
Computer graphics experts could also use such textures to cover
virtual objects and make them look more realistic - real world is
full of random patterns!

2. During installation you can change the folder name to something other than the Startup folder, for example Weather Photo. Then, when you get connected to the Internet, just launch the program and it will update your desktop.
